Customer and user testimonials
Read their comments on our LuminoKrom® phosphorescent paint
LuminoKrom® paint is charged by natural or artificial light and lights up for 10 hours, without any power supply or CO2 emissions. Our illuminated signage solution has been deployed both indoors and outdoors since 2018, in a variety of areas and to meet a wide range of needs.
Cycle paths, urban development or industrial sites: you can use our phosphorescent paint to make it safer for users to move around in the dark, as soon as it gets dark or the light source is switched off.

« This project is part of the cycle routes being developed by the Pedestrian Cycle Committee. This section will facilitate the connection between Cicé-Blossac and the town centre, as the existing path was difficult for all cyclists to use. As this path is not lit, we opted for photoluminescent road markings that capture and store light during the day and light up at night. » (Source: Ouest France)
Bruno Delaunay, town councillor responsible for networks and infrastructure

« More and more people are using this greenway for family walks or sports. I see a lot more pedestrians coming and going between the two communes – it’s like night and day! he observes. Before, you had to venture out onto the road with cars travelling at 80 km/h. That was suicide. It was suicide. »
Jean, jogger on the greenway between Pussay and Angerville

« It’s more reassuring, especially when you’re coming home quite late. It stands out clearly against the ground, giving good guidance on the cycle path. The quality of the paintwork is really impressive. »
Sinah and Frédéric, Vionnaz residents

« Now that it exists, people are less apprehensive about taking their bike to get around, even in the evening, because they know they can find their way easily thanks to the markings. »
Jean-Luc, President of the Angerville Cycloclub

« It makes all the difference between two places where there’s no street lighting! Even with a light on your bike, it really helps. »
Cécilia, Comité Pro Vélo Chablais

« I can see that the objective has been achieved and that the result is of high quality. We have received very positive feedback from users, cycling groups and the Environment Department. We will certainly be applying these markings to our future operations. »
M. Clef, Infrastructure Department, Saint-Paul de la Réunion Town Hall

« Some people refused to use the cycle path and local residents demanded that street lighting be installed, but it was too expensive! To light the path, we would have had to dig trenches, disturb tree roots and install relatively low lighting columns. Pessac was also the first town in France with a population of over 50,000 to trial switching off street lighting at night. » (Source : La Tribune)
Eric Martin, Deputy Mayor of Pessac

« The cycle path goes through the forest and it’s very dark at night. Up until now, I’ve avoided taking it in winter, on my way home from work. Since the path has been painted, I’ve taken it much more often, and I feel reassured. It’s incredible to see this strip lighting up in the middle of the night. »
Marie, cyclist commuting on the Pessac greenway

« This track turns and it’s complicated to follow at night. Now that this line lights up, I can see it a lot better. And I think I’ll be able to continue cycling to work this winter. »
Stéphane, cyclist on the Bordeaux Montaigne university campus cycle path
