In October 2024, Enedis implemented an innovative solution to improve night-time safety for on-call employees in Saint-André-de-Cubzac. Thanks to the use of LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint, the access road for utility vehicles is now perfectly visible at night, offering comfort and peace of mind to teams in the field.

Our solution reduces the risks associated with darkness, while facilitating night-time travel.

An eco-responsible and efficient approach

Enedis once again demonstrates its commitment to sustainable initiatives. By replacing electric lighting with LuminoKrom® technology, which captures light during the day and releases it for 10 hours at night, the project reduces electricity consumption for path lighting to zero. This choice combines enhanced safety, respect for the environment and optimization of energy costs, while meeting the current challenges of energy transition.
