LuminoKrom® Photoluminescent paint on the European Cycle Route EV8 in Saint-Cyprien

Luminous beaconing on the Eurovélo 8 with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint

The LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint was selected by the Commune of Saint-Cyprien to ensure safe mobility for cyclists and pedestrians at night on the Euro Vélo EV8 cycle path in an area without public lighting.

LuminoKrom® luminescent markings act as a light guide for cycle paths and greenways, providing visibility of up to 80m at the beginning of the night and 30m at the end of the night, i.e. well beyond the 8m range of lighting for a bicycle. For this project, LuminoKrom® marking was used on the central 6 cm T3 discontinuous strip and the STOP strip.
