The innovation of this photoluminescent road paint<\/h2>\n

LuminoKrom\u00ae photoluminescent road paint was developed by the company\u00a0OliKrom<\/strong>\u00a0located in Pessac (33), France. LuminoKrom\u00ae luminous paint harnesses\u00a0renewable energy<\/strong>\u00a0from solar radiation. It captures light during the day and lights up at night without any consumption of electricity or CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n

This patented innovation was developed within the R&D department of\u00a0OliKrom<\/strong>. Four years were needed to obtain a paint conforming to professional use with optimal luminous performance (in intensity and duration) to ensure visibility throughout the night (+10 hours).<\/p>\n

In 2018, LuminoKrom\u00ae photoluminescent paint was successfully applied on a cycle path. In 2019, this innovation in the field of road infrastructure was labeled by the\u00a0Comit\u00e9 d\u2019Innovation Routes et Rues<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and in 2020, the luminescent LuminoKrom\u00ae marking was nominated for the\u00a0Prix Innovation de la S\u00e9curit\u00e9 Routi\u00e8re<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

LuminoKrom\u00ae photoluminescent markings are now widely deployed in France to secure cycling facilities and pedestrian paths. In 2020, LuminoKrom\u00ae markings began to seduce beyond our borders, notably with the\u00a0first projects in Belgium<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A testes, patended application<\/h2>\n

The use of LuminoKrom\u00ae has been tested and validated by numerous applicators, such as the teams of the Eiffage Group, AER, Proximark, H\u00e9lios Atlantique, Moliner Sud Signalisation, La Signalisation Routi\u00e8re, Alinea Signalisation, Aximum, etc. This photoluminescent marking can be easily removed identically to road paint with an airless machine. The service life is estimated at more than 3 years. We already have projects carried out for more than 2 years. technical checks are carried out every month on a control track, laid 30 months ago.
