By day, it looks like conventional paint, and by night, it becomes a<strong> veritable light guide, visible for almost 10 hours<\/strong>. With no electricity or CO\u2082 emissions, our innovation provides a concrete response to the challenges of energy sobriety.<\/p>\n<p>The report looks at the example of the commune of Ar\u00e8s, Gironde, a pioneer in the application of LuminoKrom\u00ae to its cycle network. Enthralled by the initial trials, the local authority decided to equip more than 300 kilometers of trails, to the great benefit of residents and tourists alike. Everyone appreciates the comfort and safety offered by this innovative nighttime beaconing system.<\/p>\n<p>TF1 also emphasizes the economic benefits of this solution: whereas the installation of one kilometer of public lighting represents a cost of around 200,000 euros, the use of LuminoKrom\u00ae costs around 8,000 euros.
