The LuminoKrom production site
All our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paints are produced at our industrial site in Pessac, France, according to rigorous manufacturing processes and under the continuous supervision of our production control laboratory.
In 2018, OliKrom acquired an industrial production facility of +1600 m2 associated with an investment of more than 5 million Euros. The production capacity can be adapted according to demand with mixing reactors from 50L to + 1000 Litres.
The quality approach is one of our requirements. The average delivery time for LuminoKrom® paint is 7 working days. The performance of our photoluminescent products is guaranteed by OliKrom Inside®. LuminoKrom® products are characterised in accordance with the protocol of the international standard ISO 17398. The LuminoKrom® marking is the only paint on the market with luminance levels (class G) that ensure 10 hours of visibility in the dark.

The OliKrom team, its R&D centre and its production plant
OliKrom is a company founded in 2014 by Jean-François Létard, research director at the CNRS, and a recognised expert in photochemistry. With several dozen patents, OliKrom has unique expertise in the field of colour intelligence, i.e. programming a colour change according to external factors such as brightness, temperature, pressure, etc.
OliKrom develops customised solutions for different types of coatings (paints, inks, masterbatches, etc.) and supports industrial partners from the “idea to the production” of the product in all sectors of activity, whether it be health, cosmetics, road marking, etc.
LuminoKrom photoluminescent paint is one of the products developed by OliKrom. Several years of research have been necessary to obtain a paint that is suitable for road use, combining coverage, colourimetry and chemical stability with optimum light performance in terms of intensity and duration. LuminoKrom is the only patented photoluminescent paint on the market.
