Since last week in Condé-sur-l'Escaut, walkers on the Chabaud-Latour site have been able to observe the arrival of a section that is half bicycle, half pedestrian and lit up at night. This is an experimental project involving photoluminescent road paint.

LuminoKrom® improves night-time safety in Condé-sur-l'Escaut

At Condé-sur-l'Escaut, our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint was applied to the ground markings at the leisure centre to improve the visibility of footpaths at night. Thanks to its ability to absorb daylight and release it at night, our innovation makes it safer for pedestrians and cyclists to move around without the need for artificial lighting. This project is part of an ecological and sustainable approach, reducing energy consumption while providing effective and visible signage.

The Condé-sur-l'Escaut initiative bears witness to the growing interest shown by local authorities in innovative and responsible solutions. By integrating LuminoKrom® into their developments, local authorities are promoting safer, more sustainable mobility, particularly in natural and recreational areas.
