Where can LuminoKrom® Class F adhesive tape be used?
This tape is designed for indoor use on walls, doors, railings, pillars or technical equipment. It is particularly recommended for :
- Marking emergency exits and evacuation corridors,
- Illuminating technical or emergency doors,
- Marking obstacles and high-risk areas in workshops or warehouses,
- Marking safety equipment (electrical cabinets, valves, fire extinguishers).
Thanks to its long-lasting luminescence, it helps to maintain the safety and legibility of strategic areas during prolonged power cuts.
How does LuminoKrom® phosphorescent ribbon work?
The photoluminescent ribbon contains intelligent pigments capable of absorbing natural or artificial light, then releasing this energy in the form of a green glow visible in the dark. It takes just a few minutes of exposure to the light to charge it, and then it stays luminous for several hours, without the need for electricity or maintenance. This luminous autonomy ensures reliable, continuous safety signage, even in the event of a power cut.
How should adhesive tape be maintained?
The tape is maintenance-free. To keep it in perfect condition, simply clean the surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents,
Its ability to recharge with light means that it remains effective and visible over time, without the need for technical intervention.
What is the difference between LuminoKrom® F-Class adhesive tape and the C-Class version?
LuminoKrom® Class F tape offers extended luminescence for up to 12 hours indoors, compared with around 4 hours for the Class C version. This extended life makes it a strategic tool for industrial safety, particularly suited to business continuity plans. While the C-Class meets the need for rapid evacuation in the event of an emergency, the F-Class guarantees lasting visibility throughout an extended lighting outage.
