In spring 2025, the town of Checy undertook to improve safety on the footpath linking the Val des Pâtures car park to the nearby open-air café. This route, located near a road and used by many visitors, needed better visibility at night.

The municipal technical services applied our LuminoKrom® Almond Green water-based photoluminescent paint to the wooden posts lining the route. These spaced-out points of light now form a clear marker that guides pedestrians along the route and makes it easier to identify the path after dark.

The marked wooden posts capture light during the day and, at dusk, emit a soft, even glow that allows users to immediately identify the path to follow.
