Double marking for better driver guidance

In December 2023, JKR Melaka applied LuminoKrom® to the Jln Negeri national road in Alor Gajah, creating a double road marking.

Applied by AHN VERTEX, this photoluminescent marking improves night-time visibility of the road, enabling motorists to better anticipate their trajectories and thus reducing the risk of collisions and run-offs.

A durable and effective solution for road signs

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for up to 10 hours at night, guaranteeing clear signage without energy consumption. This project illustrates JKR Melaka's commitment to improving road infrastructures, by choosing an innovative, ecological and high-performance solution to enhance road user safety.
