In July 2022, the Commune d'Argelès-sur-Mer equipped a cycle path near the Les Déferlantes Festival site with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings.

Applied by Moliner Signalisation, luminous pictograms provide clear, safe guidance for cyclists using this particularly busy area during the event. Thanks to this marking, users benefit from improved orientation and enhanced visibility, particularly in low-light conditions.

LuminoKrom® absorbs daylight and releases it for up to 10 hours at night, guaranteeing energy-saving signage. The installation is part of the town of Argelès-sur-Mer's commitment to safe, environmentally-friendly cycling infrastructure, while making it easier for local residents and festival-goers to get around by bike.
