Boulevard des Vaugillettes, LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking
Illuminated markings to guide cyclists along the ring road
Reinforced signage on a new bicycle facility
In May 2022, Sens town council equipped a new 3 km bicycle path, located behind the Bricoman store along the ring road, with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings.
Applied by JCL Signalisation, this T3-type discontinuous marking with bicycle logos enables cyclists to better identify their route, particularly in low-light conditions. Inaugurated in July 2022, this infrastructure enhances the safety of night-time travel and optimizes use of the path.
A sustainable and eco-responsible solution for soft mobility
LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it up to 10 hours after dark, guaranteeing energy-free night-time signage. By integrating this innovative technology, Sens confirms its commitment to soft mobility and cyclist safety, while adopting an environmentally-friendly solution.
