In September 2025, AD PRODUCTION, a Poitiers-based (86) specialist in tourist signage, designed and produced directional signs incorporating LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint. This system is designed to effectively guide users, day and night, thanks to markings that are visible without any external power source. Developed for outdoor use, these signs combine readability, durability, and technical performance. The solvent-based formulation ensures excellent long-term durability, even when exposed to harsh weather conditions and heavy use

With this project, LuminoKrom® demonstrates its full potential for directional signage systems in outdoor environments. Unlike traditional solutions that rely on artificial lighting, these photoluminescent signs provide fully autonomous guidance, requiring no energy consumption or electrical maintenance. They are thus fully aligned with a sustainable and eco-responsible approach to urban planning, reducing both operating costs and the environmental footprint of infrastructure.

Beyond this environmental benefit, LuminoKrom® technology offers real added value in terms of safety and user comfort. In low-light conditions or complete darkness, the markings remain perfectly visible, helping users find their way and reducing the risk of disorientation. The solvent-based version used for this project also guarantees excellent adhesion and increased resistance to external factors (weather, UV rays, abrasion), ensuring optimal durability.
