Romania inaugurates the first application of our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint, marking a major milestone in mountain safety and visibility.

In April 2024, the Romanian mountain rescue organization, SALVAMONT, launches the use of our revolutionary paint to improve the visibility of essential markings for its operational units across the country.

This project, scheduled for gradual deployment, aims to enhance safety in mountainous areas, often subject to low light conditions or unpredictable weather. LuminoKrom® paint is distinguished by its ability to absorb daylight and restore it during the night, thus ensuring continuous and lasting visibility of the safety markers crucial to rescue operations.

An innovative solution for mountain safety

SALVAMONT's choice of this technology underlines the organization's commitment to adopting innovative solutions to optimize the efficiency of its operations. The introduction of LuminoKrom® on Romanian territory not only represents a breakthrough in mountain rescue techniques, but also offers an ecologically responsible method of lighting paths without recourse to additional energy sources.
