In July 2022, Bordeaux Métropole chose LuminoKrom® to enhance the safety of the pathways along the coulée verte de la Sardine.

Applied by Bordeaux Métropole's public works department, this photoluminescent marking enables pedestrians and cyclists to better identify their route and travel safely, even in the absence of street lighting.

A sustainable, environmentally-friendly solution

Thanks to its innovative technology, LuminoKrom® captures daylight and restores it for up to 10 hours at night, ensuring efficient signage without energy consumption. The project is in line with Bordeaux Métropole's commitment to promoting safe, soft mobility, while limiting the environmental impact of urban infrastructures.
