Photoluminescent markers for nocturnal movement

Better visibility for smoother traffic flow

In February 2023, the Département du Val-d'Oise (CD 95) upgraded the bicycle path along the RD14 in Pierrelaye with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings.

Produced by AER Eiffage, this marking enhances the visibility of the route, making it easier for cyclists to find their way around, particularly in poorly lit areas. The aim is to provide a safer, more comfortable route for users of the cycle lane.

A sustainable solution to promote soft mobility

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, guaranteeing energy-free night-time signage. The project is in line with the CD 95's commitment to promoting eco-friendly mobility, by offering a safe, environmentally-friendly infrastructure.
