Effective evacuation marking in the event of a power cut

A photoluminescent path to guide users in complete safety

In April 2022, the Communauté d'Agglomération Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées installed a LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking system to ensure safe evacuation for users of the L'Usine sports complex, located in the Arsenal district of Tarbes. Manufactured by Entreprise Latu (Juillan, 65), this marking system includes :

  • 500 linear meters of 4 cm diameter dots, applied to a PVC sports floor to guide evacuations
  • Door surrounds, to ensure rapid identification of exits in the event of lighting failure.

Carefully applied with a small rabbit's foot roller, this marking system blends in perfectly with existing infrastructures and provides optimum identification.

A sustainable and efficient solution for sports facilities

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and restores it for up to 10 hours at night, providing continuous signage without energy consumption. This project is fully in line with the Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées Urban Community's commitment to guaranteeing user safety and implementing ecological and sustainable solutions for its sports facilities.
