Designed for interior applications, this water-based acrylic paint combines a uniform, vibrant Sunset finish with a long-lasting green luminescence in the dark, offering an evolving visual experience.

During the day, Sunset LuminoKrom® infuses interior spaces with warm, luminous energy. This deep, enveloping yellow evokes the light of late afternoon, creating a lively and comforting setting. TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE WATER-BASED PAINT APPLICATION

LuminoKrom® Sunset water-based photoluminescent paint is applied in the same way as conventional interior wall paint. By following a few simple steps, you will achieve a uniform, luminous finish and optimal photoluminescent performance.

The surface must be clean, dry, and sound. For new walls (drywall or recently plastered), a waiting period of approximately one month is recommended to ensure perfect stability.

If the wall is not already light in color, applying a white undercoat is recommended to optimize light absorption and reflection.

The paint is then applied in two coats, using a roller or brush. Ready to use, it requires no dilution or special preparation and is easy to apply, making it popular with both professionals and DIY enthusiasts.

 

Steps for applying sunset water-based paint for design

  1. Clean the surface: Clean the wall thoroughly with clean water or a suitable cleaner, then leave to dry completely.

  2. Mark out the area to be painted: Use masking tape or stencils to protect adjacent areas and achieve clean edges.

  3. Apply the white undercoat (optional if the wall is already white): Apply an even coat of white paint to the entire surface to be painted. This step is essential to ensure optimal luminous effect.

  4. Allow the undercoat to dry: Follow the drying time recommended by the undercoat manufacturer (usually about 2 hours).

  5. Prepare your photoluminescent paint: Open the LuminoKrom® can and mix the paint thoroughly to obtain a smooth texture.

  6. Apply the first coat of LuminoKrom®: Apply a first coat of photoluminescent paint evenly with a roller (short pile) or a 6-8 mm brush.

  7. Leave to dry: Leave to dry for approximately 2 hours before applying the second coat.
    Apply the second coat: Apply the second coat of paint to enhance the color and luminous performance.

  8. Final drying time: Leave the painted surface to dry for 24 hours before use. During this time, avoid rubbing, walking on, or any contact with the painted area.
