A floral and luminescent fresco created by high school students in Bourgon
An artistic and educational project on the public toilets of the Etang de Bourgon
A colorful fresco in the heart of Bourgon Park
As part of an educational project run by students at Vitré's Lycée La Champagne, the public toilets at the pond de Bourgon underwent a complete renovation, combining technical refurbishment and artistic creation. After plastering, the walls were covered with a colorful fresco of plant motifs, evoking a simple graphic universe accessible to all. The word "BOURGON" was painted over the floral motifs, in capital letters covered with our almond-green LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint, so as to appear in the dark.
Original lighting with LuminoKrom®
Complementing the fresco, the application of our LuminoKrom® technology allows the lettering to reveal a second level of readability after dark. This artistic choice highlights the town's name, while taking a playful and inclusive approach. Even in an environment without street lighting, our photoluminescent paint captures light during the day and restores it for several hours after dark, providing a visible and poetic nocturnal signature.
Testimonial
« Your product [LuminoKrom®] meets all our expectations. Despite a delicate brush application, the result is top-notch. Stencil application is easy and clean, even with a roller.»
Karine H., Graphic Arts and Applied Arts teacher at the Lycée des Métiers "La Champagne"
