Better signage for a busy bike lane

In June 2023, the Mairie d'Arès chose LuminoKrom® to enhance safety on a 1.8 km section of EuroVelo 1, along the D3, linking the former Arès railway station to Andernos.

Applied by Signature, this photoluminescent marking improves night-time visibility of the route, guaranteeing smooth, safe traffic flow for cyclists, particularly in the absence of street lighting.

A sustainable solution to encourage soft mobility

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and restores it for 10 hours at night, ensuring effective signage without energy consumption. The installation is part of Arès' commitment to promoting bicycle travel and improving safety for cyclists on this eco-responsible tourist route.
