Illuminated markings to guide staff in unlit areas and ATEX zones

Photoluminescent beaconing for safe outdoor movement

In July 2022, GRT Gaz equipped a feeder station in Brunoy with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent marking, guaranteeing greater safety when moving around in unlit areas. Produced by Zest Développement Résine, the marking includes :

  • 50 linear meters of 10.5 cm-wide pedestrian stripes, in three distinct patterns.
  • Two pedestrian logos to guide users at night. These markings make it easier for employees to find their way around in the dark, reducing the risk of accidents on this industrial site

An interior safety system to prevent falls and mark out work areas

Inside the power station, LuminoKrom® marking was applied to :

  • The edges of the walls, to prevent falls in ATEX zones.
  • A central rectangle to delimit the valves, with 5 cm-wide strips to make it easier for operators to work in a safe environment.
    Thanks to its ability to capture daylight and restore it for up to 10 hours at night, LuminoKrom® offers an efficient, energy-saving signage solution, ideal for use in sensitive industrial environments

Marking of the edges of walls inside a feeding station, securing of the interventions of the agents of night to avoid the falls of full foot (zone ATEX, height of ceiling 2.5m, width of the part 2.5m and length 4m) + Central rectangle of delimitation of the valves. Width of the marking strips = 5cm
