Efficient signposting for safe cycling

In June 2022, Eiffage Route has chosen to integrate LuminoKrom® technology to ensure safe cohabitation between pedestrians and cyclists at the Parc de Gourjade in Castres. Produced by JCL Signalisation, this continuous photoluminescent strip marks the dedicated traffic zones, guaranteeing optimal identification even in low light conditions. Thanks to this innovative marking, traffic flows more smoothly and safely, avoiding conflicts of use in this shared space.

A sustainable solution for urban development

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, providing effective signage without energy consumption. This development is part of an eco-responsible and sustainable approach, enhancing route visibility while limiting ecological impact. The Parc de Gourjade now benefits from a more legible route, promoting user safety and the use of soft mobility.
