Illuminated markings to support soft mobility at night

A more visible bicycle and pedestrian route

In October 2022, the Communauté Européenne d'Alsace enhanced the safety of the greenway between Hegenheim and Hagenthal-le-Bas by integrating LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings.

Applied by Signature, this marking enables cyclists and pedestrians to travel in complete safety by ensuring better night-time visibility, particularly in poorly lit areas.

A sustainable solution for eco-responsible travel

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, guaranteeing continuous signage without energy consumption.

This development is fully in line with the Alsace European Community's commitment to developing safe, environmentally-friendly infrastructures, thus encouraging the transition to soft mobility.
