Reinforced signage for a strategic cycling route

In April 2022, Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, in collaboration with Eiffage, installed LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings on the cycle path at the Salinier traffic circle.

Applied by Esquiss, this marking improves safety for cyclists, by ensuring better night-time visibility, particularly in poorly lit areas and when crossing junctions.

A sustainable solution for a city committed to soft mobility

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and restores it for up to 10 hours at night, guaranteeing efficient signage without energy consumption. This project illustrates Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole's commitment to active and sustainable mobility, by offering a safer and more environmentally-friendly cycling infrastructure.
