Illuminated markings to guide cyclists at night

Efficient signposting for improved cyclist safety

In September 2022, Eiffage Route installed LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings on the bicycle path on avenue du Général de Gaulle, between Médéric and Froment, in La Garenne-Colombes. The marking includes :

  • An outer broken line to delimit the track.
  • Bicycle logos for easy identification.

Thanks to this improved signage, cyclists can ride safely, even in poor lighting conditions.

A sustainable alternative for modern cycling infrastructures

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, providing optimum visibility without energy consumption. This project is in line with La Garenne-Colombes' commitment to promoting soft mobility, while guaranteeing a safe and eco-responsible environment for urban cyclists.
