LuminoKrom® creates a green way for sustainable cities
LuminoKrom® secures the Jean Trolliard greenway in Valgelon-La Rochette
Discreet marking by day, visible all night long
In June 2025, the commune of Valgelon-La Rochette launched a project to upgrade the Jean Trolliard greenway at Camp de Saint-Clair. The works consisted of T2-type markings on discontinuous banks, together with pictograms for cyclists, to optimize traffic comfort on this section dedicated to soft mobility. The application was carried out by FAR SAS.
Our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint was chosen to accompany cyclists on their journeys, day and night. This guidance system is visible during the day like a conventional marking. At night, its phosphorescent appearance is revealed and becomes a real asset as soon as night falls. It ensures continuity of service on the greenway, without the need for additional electrical infrastructure.
A project that embodies the ambitions of a small town of the future
By equipping itself with LuminoKrom® technology, the commune of Valgelon-La Rochette is asserting its determination to enhance user safety while preserving the nocturnal environment. This project is part of a global approach to ecological transition and the promotion of active mobility.
Testimonial
"These developments fully embody the ambitions of a small town of the future: centrality reconnections, ecological transition, soft mobility and user safety."
