LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint for enhanced visibility of sensitive areas at night

Securing a cycle crossing on a strategic route

As part of its commitment to soft mobility, the Département de l'Eure has chosen to equip a sluice at Martot with photoluminescent markings. The aim is to improve safety for cyclists on the "La Seine à Vélo" greenway, a major route linking Paris to Le Havre. The lock crossing, which is particularly sensitive due to its configuration, now benefits from visible guidance, day and night.

Autonomous signalling without electricity

Applied by La Signalisation Routière in the spring of 2025, our LuminoKrom® paint captures natural light during the day, producing a visible glow for up to 10 hours after dark. This feature enhances cyclists' perception of this narrow and potentially slippery area, without the need for street lighting.
