An application to improve night-time visibility in Avignon

In August 2024, Grand Avignon and the City of Avignon decided to equip the Pont des Deux Eaux cycle path with LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint.

This installation is designed to improve cyclists' safety at night, by providing continuous, visible guidance, even in the absence of public lighting.

A sustainable solution for safer urban mobility

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and restores it for up to 10 hours in the dark, without any energy source. This eco-responsible signage enables local authorities to reduce their energy consumption, while ensuring safer night-time travel on cycle routes.
