Luminous mural lights up Liverpool nights

An innovative artistic creation combining urban art and sustainable lighting

A collaborative project for a mural visible day and night

In March 2025, Liverpool City Council, in collaboration with Lineway, unveiled a photoluminescent art mural on College Lane, Liverpool (L1 3DS).

Created by the Reskate collective (Minuscula) using our LuminoKrom® paint, the fresco comes to life after dark, offering passers-by a surprisingly poetic visual effect.

Art meets LuminoKrom® lighting technology

Used here in an artistic context, LuminoKrom® captures natural light during the day and releases it for over 10 hours at night, without the need for electricity. This project embodies a creative and responsible vision of urban art, while enhancing public space in an ecological and sustainable way.
