Photoluminescent markings to guide cyclists in complete safety
Reinforced signage on a busy route
In June 2023, the Communauté de communes MACS (Maremme Adour Côte Sud) chose LuminoKrom® to improve the visibility of the bollards at the entrance and exit of the cycle lane on the Route de l'Étang, linking Tosse to Soustons.
Applied by Aquitaine Signalisation, this photoluminescent zebra marking enables cyclists to better spot obstacles, particularly in low-light conditions, and thus avoid the risk of collision.
A sustainable solution for soft mobility
LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for 10 hours at night, guaranteeing effective signage without energy consumption. This project illustrates the commitment of the MACS Community of Municipalities to securing its cycling infrastructure while adopting an environmentally-friendly solution.
