Illuminated markings to support soft mobility in Montpellier

Better visibility for cyclists and pedestrians at night

In April 2022, Eiffage undertook a safety upgrade of the Berges du Lez greenway, incorporating LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings.

Applied by Esquiss, this marking provides cyclists and pedestrians with effective route guidance, improving night-time safety on this popular route for Montpellier residents and visitors. Thanks to this innovative technology, users can now travel with greater comfort and peace of mind, even in poorly lit areas.

A sustainable solution for a city committed to ecological transition

LuminoKrom® captures daylight and releases it for up to 10 hours at night, guaranteeing continuous signage without energy consumption.
