Unique marking on safety rails

In May 2025, contractor Candela Coatings Ltd deployed an innovative solution on the safety rails of a road in St John's, the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador. The aim of the project was to improve the visual perception of road infrastructure in all light conditions.

Stand-alone marking for enhanced visibility

Thanks to our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint, cyclists now benefit from reliable, visible guidance all night long, without the need for street lighting. By capturing light during the day and releasing it at night, the markings make trajectories easier to read, enhancing safety and user comfort.
