Targeted action to facilitate night-time cycling and walking
A project to promote smooth, uninterrupted mobility
As part of a development project led by Orléans Métropole and designed by Chéron Lavigne Architectes, access ramps and a cycle bridge were painted in April 2025. The aim: to make access routes to this soft link more legible, in an area that is not lit at night. Photoluminescent markings were applied by Signature to complement the architectural features already in place.
A stand-alone solution to guarantee visibility without light pollution
Our LuminoKrom® photoluminescent paint was chosen for its ability to recharge naturally in daylight and glow in the dark without any energy consumption. This visual signage device effectively guides cyclists and pedestrians, providing them with a better perception of pathways, without the need for electrical installation, and without disturbing local wildlife. An ideal solution to support the ecological transition to active mobility.
