Reinforced signage to improve road safety

In December 2023, JKR Hulu Langat applied LuminoKrom® to the B19 trunk road at Jln Sungai Lalang (P1), creating a continuous axial double marking as well as an edge marking.

Applied by AHN VERTEX, this photoluminescent marking improves night-time visibility, enabling motorists to better perceive their trajectory and reducing the risk of accidents, particularly in poorly lit areas.

A sustainable solution for energy-efficient signage

LuminoKrom® absorbs daylight and releases it for up to 10 hours at night, guaranteeing signage without electricity consumption. This project is part of JKR Hulu Langat's commitment to modernizing and improving the safety of its road infrastructure by adopting innovative and sustainable solutions to enhance user safety.
