Illuminated markings to ensure visibility between the plant and the parking lot

Efficient guidance for employees in low-light conditions

In June 2022, Biomérieux installed LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings to secure the pedestrian walkway linking the factory exit to the employee parking lot.

This 10 cm, 100-meter continuous strip marking ensures optimum visibility, even in the event of a power cut, enabling employees to move around in complete safety. Built by SMR Valarmor (Saint-Domineuc, 35), this layout reduces the risk of accidents and facilitates orientation on the industrial site.

Thanks to its innovative technology, LuminoKrom® captures daylight and restores it for 10 hours at night, guaranteeing continuous signage without energy consumption. This installation demonstrates Biomérieux's commitment to worker safety, while adopting a solution that is both environmentally-friendly and efficient in all circumstances.
