During the summer of 2022, the commune of Le Pian-Médoc undertook a safety project on the cycle path along the RD211 - chemin du Luget, between the Luget traffic circle and the secondary school.

Applied by Signature, LuminoKrom® photoluminescent markings enable cyclists to find their way more easily, even in the absence of street lighting, thus reducing the risk of night-time accidents.

A sustainable alternative for soft mobility

Thanks to LuminoKrom®, daylight is captured and restored for up to 10 hours at night, guaranteeing effective signage without energy consumption. This development is fully in line with Le Pian-Médoc's commitment to promoting soft mobility and improving user safety with an environmentally-friendly solution.
